Zero Tolerance for Counterfeits
In the past 20 years, as the spot market has grown increasingly standardized, the presence of counterfeit and substandard components remains a reality.
Balancing urgent customer needs with uncompromising quality assurance is the challenge every responsible distributor must meet.
At Seatech, we've built a multi-layered defense against counterfeits — from supplier sourcing to final delivery.

• Supplier business model and operational transparency
• Leadership experience and industry philosophy

• Ongoing performance monitoring and re-evaluation

External Packaging

and whether the vacuum packaging is damaged.
Labels
Labels Verify the label information
(brand, model, quantity, year, batch number, place of origin, etc.)
Marking
Confirm the marking is clear and recognizable,
and compare them with the manufacturer specifications.
Pins
Check if there is any bent, missing, or oxidized pins.

Vernier Caliper
Measure the dimension (length, width, height and spacing) of passive components.

LCR Tester
Measurement of resistance, capacity, and inductance values

IC Function Tesing
Based on customer request.

For materials with a production year exceeding 3 years or whose solderability cannot be determined during the visual inspection process, solderability testing should be conducted.

A decapsulation test of an integrated circuit (IC) involves removing the packaging material around the chip with solutions such as sulfuric acid, nitric acid to allow for visual inspection or analysis of the die itself. Usually there is information on the die which should be compatible with the manufacturer and the part number.

Inspection Steps
Rigorous Testing at Every Stage
• Visual Inspection
• Sampling Inspection & Testing
• Solderability Test
• Decapsulation Test
